About Me

B.A. Social Sciences Interdisciplinary: Health and Human Services, University at Buffalo
M.S. Elementary Educational Studies, John Hopkins University University

After moving to Chicago from New York in the summer of 2013, I became one of the founding 4th grade teachers at Brighton Park. Currently I am now in my 11th year at Brighton Park. As the 4th grade math teacher, I encourage students to think critically about how understanding how numbers work affects the world around us. Students will learn new skills around multiplication, long division, fractions, decimals, and angles. In science, students in my class will ask questions and complete experiments to gather new knowledge about their existing world. In my free time, you might find me curled up with a good book, at the movie theater, or back home in New York visiting family!!
